Just an FYI about the water. Hauled water is very common for the area. Almost half of the homes in the area depend on hauled water. About 700 on hauled, 1000 on well. People opt for hauled water because the wells are very deep in the area and cost 35 k to 55 k + to drill. It would take 14 + years for a well to pay off. The way it works is the house has a private 5000 gallon inground tank. The tank has a wifi monitor that transmits levels a couple of times a day to the owner and the water company. The owner chooses a low water level and when it reaches that point it sends a message to the water company to come and fill. This one is set at 2000 so it will accept a full truck load of 3000 gallons. This is very hands free and you dont need to be home for them to fill. You then get an email telling you that a fill was detected.
